On their behalf, we are searching for a highly qualified professional for the following position:
Regional Leader - Hungary Manager
Job role :
The regional leader's mission is to optimize human and technical resources of all field teams
- Phyto : Good Experimentation Practice (GEP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
- Seed Harvest (according to the location)
Manage and advise the team, being the link between field teams and management. In conjunction with management, you will be the line manager of the field agronomists (phyto and seeds) and station manager of your area (phyto).
Main Responsibilities:
o Implement and supervise field trials in strict adherence to GEP & GLP standards
o Maintain certifications and permits; liaise with authorities and manage audit processes
o Serve as national technical expert for GEP/GLP/Seeds; develop local trial protocols
o Oversee BPL studies as Principal Investigator or Study Director
o Manage budgets, perform basic financial analysis, and report on study performance
Main Requirements:
o University degree in Crop Protection (Plant Doctor, Crop Protection Engineer)
o >=5 years' hands-on experience in agricultural field experimentation
o Proven team leadership experience--onsite and remote
o Deep knowledge of GEP & GLP frameworks; seed trial expertise a plus
o Strong network and market insight in Hungarian ag research
o Fluent English; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
o Basic financial acumen (budget planning & cost control)
o Ideally based in/near Szeged or Balaton, Hungary
Working Conditions:

o Combination of office and field activities
o Flexible working time, high season: mid-March - mid-October
