Job Description
The Transmission Control (TC) department within Powertrain Solutions (PS) develops cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, and driving comfort in modern vehicles. Our Budapest location holds full end-to-end responsibility across hardware, software, and mechanical development for transmission control units serving a global customer base.
Your tasks:
? Design and develop sophisticated system architectures for transmission and suspension control units
? Define and maintain software architecture in line with industry standards (AUTOSAR, ASPICE, Functional Safety)
? Create customer-specific software solutions for automotive applications
? Derive software requirements, drivers, and quality goals from system-level concepts
? Identify technical constraints and support project feasibility decisions
? Make architectural decisions and ensure proper documentation and communication
? Collaborate with international and cross-functional development teams
Qualifications
? Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field
? Strong experience in software architecture design
? Solid programming skills in C/C and experience with MATLAB/Simulink
? Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance
? Analytical mindset with structured and independent working style
